Appleblossom lay in the nursery during the late morning, she had just finished eating a rabbit Lightfoot had caught for her. She had ripped the tail off for the kits to play with. As soon as she gave it to them they all ran outside to play with it. Their mother quickly followed them to be sure they didn't get into any trouble while playing. After they left she let out a sign planning on taking a nap. She was always tired now a days. She was so heavy in her belly that the smallest things that normally didn't bother wore her down and made her exhausted. Earlier that morning she had gone for a walk and now she was exhausted. She closed her eyes and soon Appleblossom was fast asleep.
An Unknown amount of time past before she was awakened by a sharp pain in her stomach. She groaned softly and slowly opened her eyes. The pain hadn't lasted long but it had been enough to awaken her. The nursery was darker which must of meant the sun had begun to set, she was all alone in the nursery. When she realized this she felt another stab of pain for that is what it felt like something stabbing their claws through her belly. This time she cried out loud from the pain. At the same time realization hit her that her kits where coming. "LIIIIGHTFOOT," she yowled hoping he was near enough to hear her. The pain was coming in shorter and shorter. She remembered the first birth she had seen it had taken hours but hers was moving so much faster then that one. Fear gripped her, she didn't want to be alone as she gave birth.
