Spiderbite- RiverClan WarriorNewleaf, new, and leafy, but not really leafy since, well they were surrounded by water, but new and…fishy. Could they rebrand it as newfish? Newfish, Old-Fish something. With the air clean and the ever bustling amount of fish everywhere- Spiderbite was pleased to be out and about. He had been up since the sunrise- before he dove into the water to hunt. It was a rather pleasing set of situations he had found himself in with four fish he carried one by one back to the camp. It was a rather good day- since the past two days he only caught rather small fish and they weren’t filling enough for anyone but an apprentice.
So it only took one rather strange thing to amuse him- as the adult river clan warrior…hopped. He hopped like a rabbit, splashing around in the puddles like a newborn- carrying the last fish in his mouth. The rather pungent smell did nothing but make him hungry- but it was against the code to sit down and eat before he fed anyone else. It took a bit longer than normal as he was rather focused on hopping like a rather strange dying fish back to camp- but he certainly did make it, and was probably a sight to see to anyone watching. The tom continued his hopping until he got to the fresh kill pile- almost ready to drop the fish.
It only took a brief moment- green eyes flashing about like a predator before he saw the ever so bright and bushy Honeyrose. Now he was well aware Honeyrose wasn’t able to speak but that meant ever so nothing to the black furred tom. A friend was a friend. He quickly zoomed over to her, pitching forward on his own two legs and almost distantly amused at the dirt curling around his paws from his weight before he flashed his eyes towards her.
“mmmn? Mmmn! Mmmn- mmn!” He chatted animatedly still with the fish in his mouth. It took a few seconds for him to realize that his words came out funny and his eyes scrunched up confused before looking downwards and chortling into the fish. With a respectful dip of his head he placed it at her feet- before sitting back up – bringing a paw to his chest. “Good morning dearest RiverClan member Honeyrose- I am pleased to see you this fine lovely morning!” He sang-announced- despite the eccentric nature of his greeting he was rather pleased to see the other she-cat.
“I have brought you a filling breakfast if you wish for it- my gift to you! A spider’s gift to a cat! Yes, yes.” He babbled a few more paces, before his eyes looked down back at her expecting a gesture of some sort that he could read. Spiders were much better with reading motions! He was sure he could understand her, yes! Yes he could!
