Fallowpaw - Windclan - Shecat
The sun was just starting to rise into the sky. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky, all anyone could see was bright blue skies as far as the eye could see. It was a hot day, a day for everyone to relax. But not a clan cat. You never got a day of relaxation until you hit that elders den.
Fallowpaw was going out hunting with her mentor Swantail. She wanted nothing more then to show her mentor how good she could be, but often times she is held back. Battles are not her forte, she is normally held back by her shyness to really put a lot of effort when sparring with her fellow apprentices. She is always scared for anyone to see her mess up, so she sticks to the basic moves she knew she could do, but those didn't win her a fight.
But today wasn't about fighting. It was just her and her beloved mentor hunting. She was given the task to decided where would be the best place to hunt. It was a test as an apprentice to know where to hunt on certain days. And she knew exactly where to do. She felt like she had confidence within herself, but she still couldn't show it. She really needed her sister to be there with her, to hype her up.
"It is really hot today, so hunting out in the open moors wouldn;t be the best idea. The rabbits aren't going to be out in this heat. And if there were any, the heat would really take a tole on my energy, and make it so I can run for as long or as fast." Fallowpaw really felt like she was becoming a warrior as she dished out all the facts, but she knew she would only be able to speak this confident around her mentor, who she was so close with. But out in a real hunting patrol, Fallowpaw knew she would probably keep quiet and go where ever she was told to go.
"The Outlook Rock would probably be better. Little creatures will be out sunning on the rocks, and will never see us coming." All of this was being said on Fallowpaw's and Swantail's way out of camp.
