Okay so thought of this with alee and shiny in the cbox and I have a bunch of fanfics and knew that you guys have a bunch you like too, so I'm going to post some of my favorite fanfics or books or whatever and if I'm feeling in the mood for something in particular I'll let you know. You can post your own recs or if you want specific genres or fandoms of recs and the like.

- Blood: Complete. ”Andromeda Black has learnt to accept her status as a member of the Ancient House of Black. However, when she meets the outspoken Hufflepuff, Ted, her perspective on life changes.” This is basically my headcanon now.
- Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past: In-Progress; Active. ”The war is over. Too bad no one is left to celebrate. Harry makes a desperate plan to go back in time, even though it means returning Voldemort to life. Now an 11 year old Harry with 30 year old memories is starting Hogwarts. Can he get it right?” Written Pre-Half-Blood Prince,
- His Own Man: In-Progress; Inactive. ”In the station between Life and Death Harry makes a different choice. Now he’s eleven again, no one is turning out the same way, the Sorting Hat won’t Sort him, the Malfoys are looking at him strangely, and - it’s time for another visit.” Hasn’t been updated in nearly three years, still worth the time, so hilarious, featuring a Troll-Harry.
- The Darkness Within: Complete. “What if Wormtail hadn’t told Lord Voldemort the Potters hideout. What if he took Harry straight to him instead? A Dark Harry fanfic.” Harry raised by Voldemort. If you’re into Epics I would strongly recommend this one. It’s long, and there’s several sequels.
- On the Way to Greatness: In-Progress; Active. A “Harry is sorted into Slytherin” fic. Really well-written and really interesting in my opinion.
- In Care Of: In-Progress; Active? “During the summer before sixth year, Harry finds an injured bat in the garden and decides to try to heal it…and an unwilling Snape learns just what kind of a person Harry Potter really is. No slash.” Mentor Severitus, Part 1 is complete, Part 2 was updated earlier this year.
- Practicing Liars: Complete. ”Harry found out he’s Snape’s son in his fourth year, and concealed the truth from Snape. Now, in his sixth year, he’s dodging Snape’s suspicions about him and trying to figure out Draco Malfoy. Life is complicated.” AU sixth year, obviously. Severitus at its best. It is indeed Drarry, but the whole story doesn’t revolve around it.
- A Father’s Sin: Complete. “Secrets, prophecies, animagi, and the Serpent‘s Children—a dark secret is revealed that will change Harry and Snape’s lives forever. But will it be for good, or for evil?” Because it wasn’t clear to me when I started reading, this was written Pre-Order of the Phoenix, and is their fifth year. No Umbridge as a result. Severitus, complete except for epilogue. Inspired so many feels.
- Our Little Secret: Complete. “It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn’t a hag, and Scorpius didn’t expect to call in the favour.” Rose/Scorpius, adorable as hell.
- Everything Different Yet Everything's the Same: In-Progress; Active. "AU: What would you do to save the love of your life? Even if that love may never be returned? Draco Malfoy will find out he will do anything to keep the man he loves alive after he's sent back in time. Drarry Slash (eventually), Remus/Sirius. Compliant up to Book 5. Timeline shift in Book 3."

He writes letters to Severus Snape, telling him how he's doing- and what's really going on in Harry Potter's house." - I'm Still Here: In-Progress: Active. "The second war with Voldemort never really ended, and there were no winners, certainly not Harry Potter who has lost everything. What will Harry do when a ritual from Voldemort sends him to another world? How will he manage in this new world in which he never existed, especially as he sees familiar events unfolding? Harry/Multi eventually."

When the Pirate King attacks her home, she defends her people and takes him prisoner. Foolish enough to show mercy, she learns when you let your guard down with the Thief, he will steal what you treasure most.”
- Wolves of the Pine: In-Progress; Active. “Life isnt fair, the Princess knows this just as well as she knows herself. But when a balverine crosses her path and throws strange events into motion, she may have to rethink both.”
LION KING:
- Pound of Flesh: Complete. "Evil lies in the eye of the beholder. When Simba chooses to bring Kovu to the Pride Lands, the young Outsider's world is thrown into chaos.
