Sunfall padded through the marsh, headed straight for the Fourtrees. Her tail flicked happily as she walked, eyes observing the terrain. What was the reason for going there? Sunfall just simply wanted some time alone to thing about random stuff and, well, sleep in the middle of the day if she could. As she continued walking, Sunfall stepped on a squishy part of the ground, her paw sinking into the mud. "Damn it." She muttered, backing up a few steps and shaking the mud from her paw. "How did I not see that? I mean, it's a huge mud pile. Right there. Wow. Good job, Sunfall." The she-cat said to herself, jumping over the puddle. But, of course, she tripped and face planted into the mud. "Great." She hissed, walking out of the cold mud. Shaking her pelt to get rid of the mud, Sunfall sat down and began to lick herself clean. "Ugh. This is nasty. Having to pretty much eat mud." She paused. "You know what, I'll just jump in a river or something later."
The maine-coon continued walking, pelt feeling much heavier than normal due to the mud. She normally loved to play in the mud, just not when she was going somewhere to just relax. Of course, she could have relaxed in the mud pile, but she probably would have gotten some weird kind of bug in her pelt. That would be gross. To have a unknown bug just eating away at you? No thanks. Kind of like fleas. Or ticks. Or those bats that suck blood. Sunfall doesn't even know what they're called, but they exist.
During all this thinking about what could happen if she relaxed in the mud, Sunfall had made it all the way there without realizing it. "Oh." She said, walking through the trees and into the clearing. She looked around, hoping to find somewhere comfortable to lay down and think. Eventually, Sunfall spotted a hollowed out tree with a hole in the side. She padded over to it and looked inside. No cobwebs or leaves or spiders. Good. Spiders are gross. Sunfall jumped into the tree and began thinking about spiders.
"They're so tiny and nasty and scary. I mean, what kind of creature has 87 or however many legs? Like, bruh, that's creepy. And the hundreds of eyes and the web stuff that comes out of there butt, ew." The mud had began drying on her pelt, making her look all spiky and stuff. Sunfall decided to waste some time getting all of it off by itching her whole body to get the dry mud off. Most of it came off like dust, but there were still some clumps of mud on her back and sides. She finally flopped onto her side that didn't have the mud and heaved a sigh of tiredness. "Oh my Starclan I'm tired." She muttered, closing her amber eyes and swishing her tail calmly. "Hopefully I'll be able to sleep a bit."
