snowfall felt only total devotion to his clan, and his fulfillment came from giving his service to it. he looked past his flaws - both physical and otherwise - and became the warrior skyclan needed him to be. otherwise, the patched tomcat wouldn't quite know what to do with himself.it's how he found himself padding along that morning with the hunting patrol. they prowled the expanse of the glade, noses high in the air and bodies pressed low to the ground. snowfall's large frame definitely made it harder for him to move as swiftly and quietly as some of his colleagues, and his tremours were more persistent this time around. the warrior had merely huffed and shouldered on. he never allowed himself to be brought down by it.
however, snowfall's luck had run out. despite his laser-focus, his twitchy state got the best of him. whilst stalking a particularly large and therefore valuable target, a spasm shot through his limbs, and the noise his actions created inevitably alerted the shrew they were pursuing. before the patrol could give chase, it was already gone. his companions took the incident well and assured him that it wasn't his fault, and though snowfall waved it off with a laugh and a smooth apology - "these dang jitters, right? can't seem to shake it off!" - his feelings definitely took a hit.
hours later had passed, and snowfall's patrol had already returned to camp with their catches. the brown and white tabby chose to stay back, his determination getting the best of him; he was going to get that pesky mammal if it took him all day! he circled the area twice by now in pursuit of its trail, but much to his frustration, he found no sign of it. the aggravation was only making his tick worse. "there's a more likely chance that my paws are going to fall off before i find that blasted thing!"
