finals (12/7-12/11)

So this is a quick update on the insanity that is my life. I'm done with finals, but some other stuff has popped up. My grandmother has suffered several injuries recently, including microfractures in her spine. She is in a lot of pain and not very lucid, so she needs constant attention and care. My family has elected that I should be the one to care for her over the winter break. Now, on top of this, my laptop's wifi adapter's broken, my family's not sure if/when we're celebrating Christmas, I need to be earning money for rent and don't know how, and other problematic problems. I also have several anxiety disorders and my psychiatrist is concerned that everything that's happening might affect me and my mental health in a negative way. 

Nonetheless, I am determined to make the most of this Christmas and enjoy the time that I spend here on CTS, as much as I can. If I'm super active for a few days and then gone the next, it's just because there's a lot going on. If I get to someone else's post before yours, it's probably got something to do with my mental state and nothing at all to do with you or your character! I want that to be especially clear. 

CTS has been so great thus far and I'm happy to have you guys to keep me cheered up through this hard time. I hope everyone's holidays go well; feel free to check in on me via Skype if I'm not in the cbox! 

So here's another update on the grandmother/activity situation. She's back in the hospital with pneumonia and an urinary infection; she may have also had a mild stroke, we're not sure yet. So things are not going particularly well there. We don't have any specifics yet. 

I'm not sure how this will affect my activity. I've been using CTS as a crutch to deal with my feelings through writing and plotting and whatnot, so thank you to everyone who has indulged me. CTS means a lot to me and you guys have been so great. There is always the chance that she will pull through, so hopefully all of this is just a precaution for you all, just so that you'll know where I go if I disappear for a few days.
