SWALLOWPAW of SHADOWCLAN
I am looking to create an apprentice in ShadowClan, but I want something different and I want to get something going for her before I formerly get her accepted. This is my attempt at a pre-thought out plot for a character. xD Please keep in mind that a lot of this is open and I would like to her any suggestions/additions people might have!
CHARACTER her name is swallowpaw. she is a sweet young thing, but has ambitions to be the best. her eyes are set on the leadership position and she has dreamed about it since she was a kit - which was just a moon ago since she'll be six moon old when I create her. however, she is not the type to just sit back and let it happen. she works hard and will do anything that it takes to prove herself to her clan. she sees herself climbing in the ranks, but she only wants that to happen if she honestly believes she deserves it. she idolizes rosestar and thinks of her as the greatest leader. she is kind and caring and will never raise her voice to others for no reason, but will be stern if she ever thinks they are in the wrong. she wants to be commanding, yet be respected by others. there are a lot of things she wants to be, but she'll work on them. she wants to work on growing into a leader that she would want to follow.
PREMISE as one can see, she has a lot of big dreams and goals. the problem is, after a few training thread switch her mentor, i am going to create an event at the thunderpath where she gets hit by a car and her hind left leg gets broken. obviously, this should put her dreams of being a leader on hold, forever. however, to everyone's dismay, she'll continue to talk to her mentor and tell them that as soon as her leg is feeling better ,that they'll have to work extra hard to get her trained up. now, this can go one of two ways, depending on what rosestar might allow of her. either she can start her training again and find out how difficult it is, but work hard to at least live a dream of becoming a warrior and have her dream to become leader forever as a distant object she might never get, but still wants to walk towards (since giving up is not in her personality) or she will go to the elder's dream, threatened with the idea of forever being swallowpaw and being stuck, frozen in her life. she'll be bothered by the idea that she can't take steps towards being leader and will start sneaking around to try and find some way to train (perhaps go out and hunt till she finally gets it) until she is caught and things can get reevaluated.
ROLES
MENTOR i would like to get her mentor figured out before i make her at the very least. i'll need someone who can handle her dreams and will want to help her get there. i would like someone who is dedicated to seeing her succeed (for they see a potential in her) to the point where it almost breaks a part of them to see her after her accident (perhaps they are even the one to find her on the thunderpath). it would be good if they could be conflicted after her accident when she start tralking about training again, like they want to continue to train her into a strong warrior, but they don't see how they can and are worried about her well-being - scared for her even.Onyxfeather - @lost
BEST FRIEND i would like to have her have this friend who is a little older than her (so they'd be an apprentice already) who sees her dreams just as well as she does and looks forward to the day when she is leader. perhaps, if this feline is a tom (she'll be heterosexual), he even has a crush on her, but knows that he is friend-zoned at the moment. as things unfold after her accident, he can make it clear how worried he was or maybe he hides his feelings and becomes more distant than before (depending on their personality). either way, this friend will always be by her side, no matter what she does, but they look out for her when she sees things much bigger than herself.Duskpaw - up for adoption by wulfpack
If no-one wants to adopt her by the time I make Swallowpaw, Wulf has agreed to make them herself, but it'd be appreciated if someone would take them up.
RIVAL it'd be great if there was an apprentice that also shared her dreams to be leader and became her rival. perhaps they have been rivals for a few moons and will work to beat each other in the time-frame where she is training. they can compete on how much prey they get and maybe spar with one another. perhaps the other apprentice has a different mentality on leading then her (maybe they don't understand why she looks up to rosestar as much as she does). how they really feel about her is up in the air and how they feel afterward is also open (maybe a little relieved to add tension? :o).Juniperpaw - shanny
Due to Rosestar's role in the plot by default, if anyone else would like to have this role, she'll step back and just have Juniperpaw as "his mean, bratty self". xD
GRIEVING PARENTS although they can be npcs, it's here in case anyone decided that they wanted to tackle it. it's really up to those that want to fill the spot how her parents would react (maybe she has a parent that doesn't feel like she'll be able to be as good as she need to be after her accident and tried to talk her into quitting (without letting it on to rosestar) or that they are just worried about their little girl.
SIBLINGS i might make her as a single kit in her little, unless someone wants to step in and offer a sibling. personality and how they feel about he aiming to be leader is up to the RPer.
NOTES shanny - since rosestar will be affected by this, i was wondering what your thoughts would be on this plot and how rosestar might fit into it.
if anyone has ideas and/or characters they'd like to through into this, please reply. :3 i'm open to all sorts of ideas.
