This is the adoption thread for Patchedpepper and Falconshade's plot. These are the four characters we are really in need of before we can kick the plot into gear. If you're interested, just post here! All we ask is that you're active and intend to stick around for a long while!

• White tom with large black patches, amber eyes. He has more black on him in more distinct blobs than Patchedpepper does, but is still mostly white.
Patchedpepper and Falconshade's adopted father, he's always been a key part in their lives, and the whole family remain incredibly close. He's done his best to guide his kits, but without bossing them around, due to some uncontrolled feeling that they aren't actually his. He has the reminder of that in the back of his mind, always, and in turn has trouble punishing them. He'd rather just love them and keep them safe. Much like Falconshade in personality, he's quiet in nature, incredibly humble, with a quick-thinking and talking way of going about things and more of a defensive stance on how he tackles life. He doesn't care much for the warrior code, but follows it unless he particularly has a reason to break it. The same goes for his loyalty, it is to his family, then his friends before the clan, and much of this has passed on to Falconshade with time.

• Longhaired tabby she-cat with amber eyes. She does not have even a speck of white on her.
Patchedpepper and Falconshade's adopted mother. She put her heart into raising and protecting these two kits that she wholeheartedly believes are her own, given a second chance at life. They are her world, and she loves them both fiercely, and would do anything for them. Patchedpepper takes a lot after her. She's hot-headed and a bit arrogant, a compulsive liar that tends to jump on board whatever her sons are saying even if she doesn't believe them, and doesn't quite know how to show her compassion for others beyond her immediate family. A lot of her urge to make others feel something is what she taught and passed on to Patchedpepper, and the two are particularly close in that respect. The only thing she lacks is his flirty nature, she's far from a cat with any interest in flirting and while she can charm others, it's not ever in that sort of respect.

Patchedpepper's biological mother. She rejected Patchedpepper for looking the spitting image of his father, believing he'd turn out to be the same aggressive, traitorous asshole his father was. She's incredibly angry both he and his father are alive, and holds a lot of bitterness in her heart about it. As far as she's concerned, Patchedpepper's brother is her only son, but she can't help but feel like she's permanently attached to Patchedpeppper, like he's a tick she can't get rid of, and has set on making both he and Falconshade (a half-clan kit doesn't deserve respect in her eyes) realise they're misfits no one wants. She's abrasive and that bit manipulative, determined to do what she wants but twisting her way around it. She tells Falconshade and Patchedpepper how they don't look anything alike, that they can't be related, and makes it her job to make them as uncertain and uncomfortable as possible. While a dedicated ShadowClan cat, who's loyal to her other son and her sister, and shows Patchedpepper's brother a lot of love, this sharp side doesn't go missed by other members of the clan. Beyond that, her personality can be opened up and expanded.
Her sister is her only remaining family, and the two are tightly bonded together. She saw Snowstriker as a misunderstood cat and gave him a chance, and his charm got to her, but she was proven wrong. Beyond these and what's said in Patchedpepper's and Striker's histories, she's open to interpretation.

• his appearance is open, however it should relate to the "fading" prefix, and not be of pointed colouring. Browns or tabbies in general are preferable.
Falconshade's biological father. He is where Falconshade truly receives his more sloth, and selfish traits, as well as his silver tongue. After wooing and impregnating a Thunderclan she-cat, he decided against continuing the relationship. However, on the night he would have ended it, the she-cat died while giving birth to their kits. In a grudging sense of responsibility, he takes the sole surviving kit back to Shadowclan where he promptly delivers it to Littleheart as the medicine cat's problem now. Throughout Falconshade's life, Fadingroar acts as if there is no further relationship between them more than that of their clan; even then, he is prone to casting sharp glares and littering the air with snide comments about "half-blood" in Falconshade's presence. However, as his half-clan son grew into a full Shadowclan warrior, Fadingroar's view of his offspring is beginning to change. Where once he wanted no sort of relationship with the tom at all, for fear of tarnishing his reputation if the truth came out about Falconshade's true lineage, lately his cruelty and verbal abuse has diminished to an easily bearable level. While neither tom has honestly said more than two words to the other, Fadingroar's gaze is a constant weight upon his son's shoulders of late, for one reason or another.
