dirty paws - crescendo's plots

DUCK-
STAR

Optimism set to maximum; Ducksar is a cat of good cheer! At least on the outside. She's brave, and runs on love more than anything else. She does not frequently blame others for whatever they have done and is the sort that forgives over and over again (or simply shoulders the blame entirely on her own). Her good attitude should not be seen as being naive, however. She's an intelligent and practiced warrior, despite her physical disability, and a firm believer of pushing forward despite what life throws your way. Her new status as Clan leader is a lot to put on her shoulders. Not only is she young, but she's physically disabled in a way that has always made her a little self-conscious. In any case, she's going to do her best as the leader of RiverClan! Take things one step at a time. She's secretly insecure about her twisted leg and frequently thinks of herself as "broken" at times, but doesn't talk or complain about it much.

SUGGESTIONS: Duckstar is easily underestimated because of her injury and is also frequently pitied for it. It'd be interesting to see cats with this mindset interact with her! Though I'd also really like others that kind of admire her for being brave, and even more that try to get down into how she really feels. I'm also hella craving romance plots for this girl. I want her to have kits. She deserves kits. She loves them. A romance would be interesting because she tends to see herself as "not good enough" so.

LOOKING FOR: Cats to support her new leadership! Others that strongly believe she was the wrong choice as a new leader of their Clan! Friends! Lovers! So much!! Duckstar is really close to Sharpfrost but could probably use more friends to be protective of. I also cannot stress enough how much I want a romance for this particular character. She's so good.

MOTH-
FANG

2/21 threads.

Mothfang, being an elder, is eventually going to die. I plan on chugging him through 21 threads (if you can figure out what I'm using as a countdown you'll realize I'm a huge nerd lmao and may or may not be horrified). So! If you'd like to thread with him let me know. We can definitely plot and stuff, I just know that as he grows older he's going to start getting more and more confused about what's going on with his life.

SUGGESTIONS: in the early stages (threads 1-10) Mothfang's age shows in little ways, so he's still able to be fairly active! He's sort of depressed right now, so getting him off his butt is the main challenge. He loves younger cats and adventures (he's got wanderlust like no other). Fastest way to his heart is through that.

On the other hand, he's also grumpy! As long as you get into the earlier threads he's also active (though not as active as he'd like) and so if you'd like him to get in a fight with someone who might underestimate an elder with a surprising bit of bite he's here for that too!

LOOKING FOR: Friends (who are persistent), young-uns for him to dote on, apprentices to go on ridiculous "please Mothfang don't climb that tree you're a billion moons old D:" adventures with him, cats that have to drag this stubborn elder back to camp, high positions that are either really tired of this old cat telling them "I remember when you were a kit" or are secretly fond of him. Cats that make him miss being young, but appreciate living nevertheless. Cats that make him cling to life with both claws, fear death despite his mate's face lying in the ether waiting for him on the most terrifying journey he'll ever make. Cats he hates and wants to fight but is too weak to anymore (borders are not off limits, as Mothfang is a bit of a wanderer). Cats to watch as he slowly starts to forget things, his memory clouds, he becomes confused. Cats he can trust and tell that he's afraid of losing himself, but on the other hand cats that would manipulate and use his confusion to their advantage. Cats to love and hate him. I'm up for anything with him, like I said, I need at least 21 threads with this bugger.

DEATH?: I'm not sure how he'll die? I mean I kind of know because I'm keeping a theme with him which I'm sure someone's gonna eventually figure out or I'll be too excited about what I'm doing to keep it to myself lmao. BUT if you have ideas hit me up?

THINGS I'M CONSIDERING: him going to the moonstone to fulfill some form of wanderlust and dying, him getting attacked and killed being too feeble to fight back, him being confused and falling into the ravine etc. etc. I might go stalk around other trackers to see where I'm going with it. The first two require other people, the ravine one is more tentative because (especially since he's Peachpaw's grandpa) I feel like him being real confused would mean a bunch of cats watching him to make sure he doesn't... you know, hurt himself.

SQUIRREL-
FANG

I like using fire metaphors for this cat and I have a reason to. She's hot-headed, fierce, aggressive, ready to burn all that is in her way. She doesn't stand still for long, is working hard or proving herself. Sensitive about her teeth but in that angry kinda way (all her siblings were born with strange mouths, Squirrelfang has prominent...er, well, fangs).

SUGGESTIONS: Cats to temper her... temper? To help prove to her she's more than destructive (because she's certain she is) that she can trust them. That there's more than just her family circle for her to look to when she needs help. Threads with her aggressively butting heads with others. She'll fight you son, she will. Threads with her just being snarky and sassy. I'm sure she's caused trouble. Maybe cats asking her when she's going to chill the hell heckie out because she's a warrior and she's still ?? really intense lmao. Threads where she's caught off guard, relaxing, dancing in the rain, smelling the storm on the horizon and feeling connected to it.

LOOKING FOR: honestly? A mate. I'd love for Squirrelfang to have kits, so if you have a TC kitty looking for love in all the wrong right places ;3c It'd be interesting to see how she deals with love. MATE FOUND!! Also just looking for friends? Platonic relationships that Squirrel can grow to trust and rely on. Maybe just a cat that is her opposite in many ways. A cat that isn't fire but is water and she's either in love with them or just close to them and they can balance one another. She knows when to bring the heat, they know when to keep calm. I want cats to show her that her fire isn't always destructive eeeeh idk.

KIT

I AM SO. SO SO SO. SO OPEN FOR PLOTS WITH KIT. Okay so basically his goal in life is to "earn a name". He's kind of a dreamer, kind of brave and heroic, eloquent and mysterious. He's eventually going to join SkyClan (which is going to be one hell of a struggle) and you can sure as heck catch him at the border every now and then. He's living alone now, young and inexperienced with the world, but clear-headed enough to realize it.

LOOKING FOR: anything? everything? I need to do some border posts with him at SkyClan before he can ask to be accepted into the Clan and then work his tail off getting into it. Cats to hate him? Cats to vouche for him (a Graystripe to his Fireheart -weak cries-). He knows a few herbs but doesn't have a good head for keeping them in there so fun stuff with medicine cats maybe? Have you ever been so open to plot pretty much anything with a character that when push comes to shove you can't write down all you want because it's literally everything--that's this. That's Kit. I just want to write Kit, pls thread with me and Kit I'll love you.

PAW

HI. You know Peachpaw, the sweetest most darlingest ray of sunshine in all of ThunderClan and how her dad Stoatclaw disowned her because he's everything not-fun in the world? Pearpaw looks up to him like hella. Pearpaw wants to be just like him or well, er, since he thinks that's unattainable he just wants to make him proud. Is he mean to one of the nicest little baby cats in all the Clans? [fierce whispers] You bet your tail he is.

Is he gonna stay like that forever? :3c Maaaaaybe, but maybe not. Pearpaw is young, very young. He can still be influenced by the world for the better! Save him (and by proxy Peachpaw!) or you know, just let the chips fall because I know where I want him to go lmao.

SUGGESTIONS: FLUSTER HIM. Show him kindness, he finds kindness so confusing. Tell this child to stop working so hard (I might have him do something to his paws or hurt himself because he's gonna be a weird training fiend). Help him learn that there's more cats than just Stoatclaw that have worth including himself. Confront him about Peachpaw (actually idk what would happen he tends to be polite just to make his dad look good so he'd prob just avoid that conversation lmao).

Pearpaw needs to figure out his sister is a lovely little star and that his dad is... well, not. Which will wreck him, but hey, it's a necessary destruction. Otherwise he'll just... you know, become a bad kid. He's not really bad now, just... disillusioned. And also... not very nice. EH.

LOOKING FOR: ROMANCE--or at the very least some older badass tom for him to have a mundo crush on. See Pearpaw has been raised to think that his father's legacy is very important, and if you happen to be... I dunno... gay, it's kinda hard to continue that legacy. Because you know. You don't really wanna sleep with the ladies. Friends (read: distractions), enemies, cats he can be awkward around. A future mate?

CUCKOO-
KIT

LET HIM TALK YOUR EAR OFF. Cuckookit loves stories, he also loves experiencing new things. He's an adventurous little squirt, and there's not much that curbs his enthusiasm. Very optimistic, happy soul. Too bad he rarely takes anything seriously (I mean he's a kit now but...)

SUGGESTIONS: rambunctious kit adventures, talkative young smol cat following yours all day chattering more than the birds in the forest. check out snowy's adopts because she has all his siblings and they're super cute you should adopt them and rp with me !!

LOOKiNG FOR: UH, friends rn. He's too young to feel love in his tiny heart just yet and I'm not sure where I'm putting the child in the future. You can try to be his enemy (read: you're annoyed by him) but he tends to be too chill to acknowledge a cat hating him (or maybe he just likes rubbing fur the wrong way, he's a kit).

ICE-
PAW

Residential SkyClan dope extraordinaire. You need to know two things about Icepaw: One, he's pretty. Two, he's not super bright. He means well, loves with all his heart, but is horribly gullible, trusting and naive. He believes largely in true love, wants other cats to like him with near desperation, and can be incredibly overbearing.

SUGGESTIONS: Honestly I am willing to throw Icepaw into almost any open thread. If there's a thread without a tag on it expect him to be there. He's a snoop, he's all up in everyone's face. HOWEVER, plotting calls for some adventures. So here are a few harebrained things that Icepaw would totally definitely go: Go on an adventure somewhere out of territory (and get caught and get them in trouble), get stuck in a tree, try a "new thing" which is a stupid thing to try (read: swimming, trying to talk to a fox, etc). This kid lacks common sense, be ready for a ridiculous amount of getting hauled around into upsetting scenarios.

WANTED: cats for him to crush on and momentarily think is "the one" only to flit off to someone else at some point before he learns to settle down and stop jumping the gun with romance. An end-game romance maybe? It'd prob be best if they were friends in that awkward childhood friend "I wanna be with them but we're friends and it's enough to be friends but I also kind of love him and this is so awkward" kinda way. THOUGH that's not a requirement or anything ROFL, Icepaw wouldn't really be able to do the opposite side of that because he'd just... you know, flip it around to being in his favor. ER friends are cute too, also cats that find him annoying all around lmao. Someone to take advantage of his gullible nature and manipulate him ??

FIRE-
WHISKER

A sufferer of severe anxiety, Firewhisker can have a hard time just functioning some days. Ultimately, however, he's a kind, brave (if not easily stressed and startled) young warrior who is nervous and doesn't have much in the way of friends. He tends to stick to himself, but he could use some support honestly.

SUGGESTIONS: ULTIMATE GOAL: joy and happiness. That's it. It's what he deserves. I want this child to grow certain about his worth in the Clan. I want him to realize it doesn't hurt to get help from others, that he's not a burden, that he's worth while and deserves love and respect. Even so, I'm realistic. He'll prob have his panic attacks, he might struggle with being taken seriously by Clan-mates. He's also vehemently loyal to Rosestar and will stand up for her against anything at all.

WANTED: nice things, close friends, platonic love would be so sweet. Cats that hate him, cats that love him. Honestly I'm open for so much. I'd like for him to prove himself somehow, if only to himself. Not sure what kinda idea I have in mind tho....

STARLING-
STORM

Struggling with the fear that he'll go mad with greed, Starling is honestly more terrified of himself than any cat. He's the object of his own nightmares, and tends to forget the depth of his love for those around him because of it. He thinks very low of himself, so honestly it'd be nice if someone could help him see the good side. Greed, having greed, wanting, is not necessarily all that bad. Or even strange. Sure he's ambitious, but ultimately he loves his Clan with all his heart.

SUGGESTIONS: THOSE TO GET THROUGH TO HIM. Star's the sort that tries to keep others at a distance because he feels he "doesn't deserve them". He's stuck in the past and could use someone to drag him out of it. ALSO IDK WHY BUT. I imagine him being hilarious in shenanigan sort of scenarios? LIKE. Okay, "dangerous" situations that are also ridiculous and over the top (I keep see him running indiana jones style away from shit and it makes me laugh).

LOOKING FOR: friends to love this smol, folks to remind him that there's good in him, enemies too? cats that are maybe suspicious of him because of his ambition?? or hell, maybe even cats that surprise him and support him. romance is also cute, i'd like a slow-burn one with this guy because he's demi-pan...

SUN-
PAW

SECRETLY GUILTY SON. Actually, the best thing about Sunpaw is that he just tends to go along with what his brother says. He's a pretty demure cat, so if you want someone to boss around and have trouble saying "no" it's this guy. He's really friendly but quiet because he's secretly stewing in the guilt that he almost killed his sister once AH AHA.

SUGGESTIONS: DRAMA? I don't know why I just want him neck deep in it. Like. Involve me in your dramatic plots. Make it so that his inability to actually stand up and say no bites him in the tail. Let's shove this kid so far out of his comfort zone he falls into a pit that's filled with spiny shells or something.

LOOKING FOR: Romance? Young love is so cute?? Aaah. I just really want him to have a dramatic time. He needs friends outside of his siblings that he can awkwardly not talk around :'D. He's trying his best.

LAUREL-
PAW

PUT YOUR PAWS TOGETHER FOR--aw crap it's this guy. Jolly, over the top, a ridiculous show off. He's so quick to strut his stuff, to beam a smile, but he's really friendly and nice. He's loving, doting, would do anything for his family. But ah this kid loves the spotlight. He loves others. So quick to give it--I mean he's not stupid but he's still so so ready to throw his heart into the paws of another with a blinding grin and a warm purr. The boy just wants to love everyone. The boy just wants everyone to be happy...

SUGGESTIONS: I want to break him ?! I. I'm sorry. He's just so happy. So pure. I want to crush it out of him. I want to push this child to the brink of darkness, to leave him questioning all he knew. To make him wonder if there was ever a reason to believe in joy, to make him question himself.

LOOKING FOR: ANYTHING. Friends, enemies, people to watch him do his stupid crap. I'm really interested in a plot where he possibly kills another cat through his foolish actions. Honestly, I just want him to go around being a loving goof only to have it come crashing down around him because sometimes reality just... isn't nice. I'm sorry Laurelpaw.

FICKLE-
HEART

Ah, this noble boy. A cat that could talk your ear off for days, who stews in his own worries but would try to chase your own away. Always thinking about others this boy is. He wants to help all those around them. Would carry the burden of the world on his two shoulders if it were up to him. Would break and bend beneath it until he was broken. It's fate, he'd say. He's faithful, religious, believes in StarClan with all his hear and wants to do good for others.

AH MY HEART. MY OLD SON. Okay so Imma be real, this character here is dear to me. The dearest. He's a reboot of an old character that literally shaped the way I write today. Literally. I was a terrible writer back in the day. I wasn't serious, wasn't willing to take criticism and push myself-until I made Fickle. Fickle here made me step up, made me want to improve. He's... special.

SUGGESTIONS: Fickleheart likes to give people advice a lot haha. He's really shy but when he gets close to others he tends to chatter like a jay. Do you need a cat that needs some love and positive forces in their life? This cat's their cat. He's positive for others. THOUGH, to be fair, be warned that he himself is a fragile cat who tends to swallow his misery until it explodes out of him in a mess of drama. He's a drama bomb. Poor child.

LOOKING FOR: Friends? Enemies?? Actually that's hard to do unless you want a convoluted plot in which you personally betray him. :'D HONESTLY. He's so loving. He loves WindClan so much. He'd probably defend other cats too. Give him cats to be a weird adoptive father to let him gay fall in love with an apprentice someday weep

DEW-
PAW

Intelligent, inventive, the sort that would think outside of the box and think to ask questions other warriors would find better left alone; Dewpaw can have a tendency to talk above others. And be surprisingly smart for his age. He's empathetic and compassionate, and close to his three brothers... though if he's being honest he'd say that he's nothing compared to them. He tends to put others over himself and doesn't really lean on others well. Dewpaw's the one that feels like he's there to fix things, if he can't he's quick to feel useless... and he doesn't seem to understand that he himself might need fixing every now and then too.

SUGGESTIONS: HONESTLY, I'm really interested in roleplaying this guy. He's gonna be interesting in the warriors world, and he'll find Twolegs incredibly fascinating. I kind of really want him to get badly hurt at some point. I'd also like for him to display a genuine interest in medicine cat skills. Him having a crush on a farm cat or kittypet at some point would be interesting too.

LOOKING FOR: Friends, enemies, people he can look after and ones that will look after him and remind him he has people to lean on. His brothers and adopted father are up for adoption and I'd definitely like to plot with them for whoever picks them up. Someone willing to push Dewpaw beyond the boundaries and possibly encourage his strange outlook? Alternatively, someone who hates said outlook and tries to crush it.

STOAT-
CLAW

If rage became personified into a being, it'd be Stoatclaw. He's angry all the time. He hasn't really felt anything positive beyond personal pride since kithood. He cares most about his personal image, though not enough about it not to speak his mind. Can be high and mighty. Hates medicine cats. Hates kindness in general. Extremely possessive of his children with the exception of Peachpaw, whom he has disowned.

SUGGESTIONS: DESTROY HIM. No but in all seriousness, Stoatclaw's anger is getting harder and harder to control. He can't seem to help himself anymore. He's spiraling into an ever darker place. He's a bully, if you want him to be nasty to someone be my guest. If you want someone to try telling him off then yeah sure I'm down with that (good luck).

LOOKING FOR: Enemies!! Idk about friends, he's very particular about who he is around and trusts (read: no one, literally he bases his entire read on people on himself and knows damn well he isn't trustworthy so...). I've got lots to do with him and Snowy and I think I have something with Tikker too but I'm open for anything so long as it doesn't get him banished before I get plot stuff done.

SAND-
STRIKE

Formerly ambitious, arrogant and cheerful—Sandstrike’s confidence was recently deflated. He had secretly been visiting several rogues and was thinking of leaving the Clan to be with them, only to accidentally kill one of their members. This has left him guilt-ridden, uncomfortable and unconfident. He’s no longer near as bright or ambitious, in fact he keeps trying to shove others away, afraid of what will happen if his secret is ever uncovered… and fearing that maybe it should be.

SUGGESTIONS: Sand's rogue-friends are all up for adoption, as is his sister Daisyface, so check out my adoption center at some point! He’s really jumpy but honestly could use someone to talk to. He feels shaky in his loyalty for the Clan, and his place among them now too. He’s guilty for the fact that the whole scenario blew up in his face. Not only did he cause the death of a dear friend, but he betrayed the cat he loved. Cats that are perceptive, that call him out, that put him on the spot for his change in behavior are really encouraged. Other suggestions are cats that may have been bullied by Sandpaw in the past, so are puzzled but likely a little pleased that he’s no longer so quick to draw attention to himself.

LOOKING FOR: friends, enemies, loves—Sandstrike, as previously mentioned, doesn’t feel like he belongs in WindClan. I either want that to be solidified (resulting in him running away) or contradicted. Maybe both! He’s been awfully fishy pretty much his entire apprenticeship, what with the “I hunt better alone!” and getting in trouble for sneaking out of camp a few times. It’s not out of the question that somebody’s suspected something.
