That could be a very interesting dynamic! If Tiny & Falcon are already slated to get together, Birch probably couldn't turn her against Falcon entirely, but she'd definitely be whispering all kinds of doubts in her ear. Falconstar would triumph in the end, but, maybe for a while, Birchsong could have Tinypaw going on all kinds of half-truths. In the meantime, Falconstar would just be wondering how Birch knows so much about what he's been up to xD

CLAIR & CAWNEN

STRANGERS -> ACQUAINTANCES -> FRIENDS

YES plots for Sinclair <3 He's a bit awkward and oblivious, he probably wouldn't really understand Cawnen's aggression towards him, but he'd be annoyed by it because Cawnen is so much younger than him. I'm a sucker for the "strangers forced together in tight places" trope, so I'd love to play them out maybe being stuck in the same place during a storm? Then from there it can progress into a greater friendship. Sinclair's really lonely at heart, and he'd welcome Cawnen's talkative mannerisms and cheerful attitude once they got used to each other.

SPECKLED & HONEY

FUTURE BAMF SISTER-IN-LAWS

Alligator and Speckled will eventually have a thing going on, so Speckled hanging out with Honey is inevitable. Since she's talkative and sassy, she wouldn't really know what to do with Honeyrose's silence, but I think it'd be really neat if we had a thread where Alligatoreye taught her how to interpret all of Honeyrose's signals. Once she knew hoe to communicate with her, she'd be a lot more comfortable around her.

ROWANFROST and SHEEPWHISKER :: Sheep is super shy and awkward around others; he doesn't like crowds and is quite introverted. Given Rowan's stance as a strong-and-silent gentleman, though, I can see Sheep actually taking a liking to Rowan! Sheep's due a relationship with Skyy's Stoneshade, but maybe Sheep once had a crush on Rowan? No one knows about Sheep's sexuality except close family members, so that could be something interesting to mess around with.

SINCLAIR and FALCONSTAR :: Oh, dude. Duuuuuuude. If you want someone to take Sinclair down a peg or two, Falcon is your guy. He hates rogues/loners and everything they stand for, their anarchist lives and utter lack of loyalties, etc. Falcon wouldn't hesitate to use force to remove Sinclair from his territory, should Sinclair not heed Falcon's first warning, and that ordeal could be that reality check you're looking for. -winks-

&Atlanta, nahh, I think she could get close in early day though, while Tinypaw's still trying to figure herself out. She's super impressionable at the moment, so it wouldn't take much to have her turning around. it'd be really interesting to see how much Birchsong could say that would stick with time though, it could make things interesting! And, yes, poor Falconstar, constantly puzzled how his whereabouts are constantly known.

SINCLAIR & CAWNEN
That's fair enough! Cawnen wouldn't really explain himself either when it mattered with his aggression, though eventually it would probably come out with an apology. A storm is a good way of getting them together though, I agree! Maybe it's somewhere neither of them are comfortable too, so Cawnen's away from his siblings, and Sinclair's away from his barn. Maybe they end up taking shelter under the same rock, or something along those lines? It'll be an interesting path to friendship, that's for sure! Cawn will definitely appreciate his company with time. <3

SPECKLEDWING & HONEYROSE
The awkwardness in itself of neither knowing quite what to do together will be interesting to play with! But, I really like that idea of Alligator helping out by showing some signs, if hallelujah is up for that!. Honeyrose would willingly help with that too, maybe even dragging Spiderbite along too for lessons, if @july is interested. it could make for an interesting thread at least! Lessons on mute communication with Alligator and Honey, which will likely break into a one-voice argument halfway though ~

This announcement is being made with an extremely heavy heart, and we know it may not be a popular one. However, Alee and I have made the decision that we are going to be closing Chasing the Sun by the end of the month. Originally, we were going to wait till the end of the activity check before making the call either way, as no doubt some of you picked up from my introduction to the check itself. But, after seeing some of the most recent hiatuses and their updates, and talking with a few members who will not be continuing on the site, we’ve decided at this stage in time, it’s the right time to bring things to a close.

Chasing the Sun is a play-by-post roleplay based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. We are set in the original forest in an alternative universe from the books, where SkyClan were never forced from the forest and the characters we have known and loved have not existed. We have a 150-word minimum and a sandbox roleplay setting that does not have an overarching plot, only those that members form together. The world is there to shape by the characters than inhabit it, growing the forest into something unique from what we have seen before. THUNDERCLAN VERSES BADGERS
Due to a change of high ranks that is to take place, this plot has been updated and modified. if you were originally involved, please make sure to check the thread and voice if you still want involvement as soon as possible! The Forest Prince is the the current thread leading into the start of this plot.

WIND/SHADOW VERSES ROGUES
Redstar, Rosestar and their fellow high ranks of WindClan and ShadowClan have met on the border of the clans and formed a truce, after it has become aware that a group of rogues has become a threat. Both leaders have addressed this issue in their clan meetings, with Rosestar setting the rule that until the rogues have been dealt with, cats are not to leave camp alone.

WINDCLAN - MEDICINE CAT PLOT
A significant change has taken place in the direction of this plot, and the main post has now been edited to reflect such. We are still looking for WindClan cats to be involved, so if you have a cat you’d like to have something happen to, places are still open.

SKYCLAN VERSES RIVERCLAN
With the border clash narrowly avoided by Pinestar’s intervention, steam has yet to ease, as the SkyClan patrol stand in camp to address the clan getting too ambitious. Meanwhile, with the change in leadership of RiverClan causing discomfort across the clan, there is no doubt that everyone is on edge. Another clash is imminent.
