His ears flicked about as she mentioned her adoptive father ; he wasn't sure if it was in annoyance, or just curiosity. However, they laid against his skull as she mentioned the rogues. "Right. Right, we'd be able to chase off a couple of flea-eating rogues! Hah, yeah! Blurrypaw and Wrensong, "Ooh, so cool, they chased off four rogues!"" He nodded at his own compliments that seemed to bloat his already fair ego. Biting into the rabbit's shoulder, he picked it up - and was rather amazed by how heavy it actually was. Though he felt a bit discouraged, he decided to just keep moving forward. He would be able to do it.
He quickly made his way back to the Clan, though the hare between his jaws made it a bit difficult to bob and weave around the growth before the Clan. Finally, he settled it right in the middle of the Fresh kill pile when his eyes spotted Foxhowl. His orbs gleamed with excitement as he bounded up to his father, meowing quickly. "Foxhowl, Foxhowl, Foxhowl!" He mewled, but to little avail.
"Not now, Blurrykit, I don't have time for your games, alright?" He meowed rather exhausted, scooting closer to the warriors den. "Look, go find your brothers and play with them. It's been a long day - or, or go see your mom." He suggestd in a non-caring fashion, before his eyes perked upon the rabbit.
"Hah, see? You like it, don't y-"
"Oh, they did a good job. See you tomorrow." Foxhowl descended with his sleeping warriors.
Pain filled Blurrypaw's chest and his stomach felt like it held the entire moonstone itself - he turned and ran back out. Sure it was late at night, but how could you not even remember your own kits name? His mind wondered off, completely forgetting about Wrensong. He stopped just short of his and Wrensong's hunting spot, laying beside a bush. He began muttering and whispering to himself. "Stargazing is so stupid. Who would even want to do that, anyway? It looks the same, it's just boring old-" He paused, laying his chin on his paws and looking off into the terriory that bordered them. "That was a fine catch. A-a great catch, that was a fat rabbit.. I-I bet it could feed this whole Clan." He growled a bit, though stopped after a few moments. His mind swirled around, trying to remember why he had ran back out in the first place.
"To escape Foxhowl." He hissed a bit to the side, before peeking his head up over the bush. With the most of his strength, he forced a smile and made a small meow. "W-Wrensong? Wrensong, are you still here?"
