It was beginning to get harder to sleep as the night seemed to go on, the moon continuing to rise in the starlit sky. If it wasn't for the nightmares and the lack of confidence within herself, the young she-cat figured she could easily snooze until morning. However, that wasn't the vase any longer. She'd voiced her concerns towards her brother, and yet, Snakepaw thought it was just her nerves about everything finally catching up to her. Figures. Snakepaw never understood what she was like and saw her like everyone else. No, she shouldn't think like that. Snakepaw loved her and he was all she had left in this world that she could call family.
With a silent yawn, the fluffy ginger-and-white she-cat rose to her paws, ever so careful to try and not make a noise and disrupt her sleeping mentor. The last thing Tigerpaw wanted to do was wake Tawnygaze up and answer questions that she had no answers to. Why can't she sleep? Unknown. Tigerpaw knew that if she tried to lay down again and attempt for sleep it would end just as badly. Giving her pelt a quick shake, the medicine cat apprentice clumsily made her way out of the den's entrance and into the skyclan camp clearing to look for her way out of camp.
"Maybe a walk will do me some good," the she-cat sighed to herself as she looked down at the ground beneath her paws, waiting a moment before heading on her way. It wasn't that she thought she should go alone, but rather she wished not to disturb anyone from their own slumber. It was something she wished she could take part in. With a flick of her tail, annoyed at herself and the inability to sleep, Tigerpaw glanced around again in hopes someone would show themselves. Someone she could ask to join her and someone she could just talk to.
Tigerpaw figured if all else failed and no one showed up that she would just head out alone, weather or not trouble seemed to follow her. It was a curse in her eyes, constantly tripping, falling, or just generally getting into trouble as it followed her wherever her paws seemed to take her. Was that perhaps why Snakepaw chose to train more than talk to her? Was she just that unpleasant of a feline to get to know fully? The sadness lingered in her mind as the thoughts rose inside her heart, breath nearly catching in her throat. Who wanted a klutz like her around?
