Today during my writing class I got a text from my sister to call her as soon as I got home. Because my grandma had had a kind of exploratory heart surgery yesterday where they put cameras in her veins to find out what was wrong with her heart I had a really bad feeling. I thought she was dead but she isn't dead but without surgery she will die.
My Grandma Rose on my moms side, they found out she has two leaky heart valves and a 90% blockage. Without surgery there is a 100% chance of dying before the new year. My grandma is getting both surgeries at one time even though her doctors told her it was very very very risky and she had a high chance of death. She told them, "I'm ready to die if god calls me home during the surgery then it's my time. If I live then I know God needs me here still." I'll find out Tuesday when he surgery is and what exactly her chance of living is. Until her surgery she is on strict bed rest, she is only allowed to get up to go to the bathroom she can't even bathe or shower herself.
To make things even worse I found out my brother in-law's dad is in the hospital in Nashville. He has cancer in his pancreas. He's very ill and if he doesn't get up and going within the next four weeks the tumor will begin to spread through out the rest of his body making the surgery basically useless. In other words without the surgery he will die as well.
-Once I find out more about either of these people I will be sure to update you all. Until then if you pray we could use your prayers. If you don't your wishes and thoughts are much appreciated as well.
