Nice evening warmth [Snowpaw]

Her icy blue eyes looked up at the apprentice that approached her after dropping something off at the freshkill pile. If Dovekit remembered it right, this apprentice's name should be.. Snowpaw, right? She had made it a quest to know everyone's name, as that showed of respect to the other cats. She need a good imago, she didn't want others to find her impolite. The calico kitten stood a little bit straighter and nodded slightly, a small smile on her face. "Hello, Snowpaw.", she greated the she-cat. "It may be a little late, but I was just so curious to see how the camp looked at nightfall.", she answered her question, carefully pronouncing each word. She always spoke with as much grace as she stood, although it had taken practice to speak so correct. As a little kit, sentences where much harder to form. It was such a surprise when she first said her fully correct sentence. Ah, the good old times - although it may be a moon or two ago. At the statement of the apprentice, a spark of curiousness shone in her eyes. "Have you been hunting today?"

The she-cat smiled politely but didn't laugh with the apprentice, as she may see it as if she's laughing at her instead of with her. At the question of Snowpaw, she nodded slightly while waiting for her to finish speaking so she could answer. "I have never really thought about it.", she said with her soft but at the same time strong voice. "But I don't think I would enjoy fighting so much. I think exploring our territory, running and climbing the trees, would be the most enjoyable thing." Happy with her answer, Dovekit sat down and curled her white tail around her paws.

The calico smiled a bit amused when the voice of the she-cat seemed to be louder than she had wanted. Her next sentence was a lot softer, almost a whisper - the kitten had to listen closely to hear everything. Dovekit nodded agreeing as Snowpaw confirmed what she had said. "I think me and my sisters will become apprentices next ceremony.", she answered, after thinking about it for a second. They were 5 moons old now, next moon would come just in time for them to reach the right age for the ceremony. "So about a moon.", decided the kitten.
