STAFF AUDITIONS
As with all sites, we need a good degree of members in order to run the site successfully, and make sure everyone is happy with what is going on. So, from time to time we will be looking for members to take on the moderator roles across the site. There are four of these ranks, and while each have focus areas, all staff members help with site management to a degree and participate in site decisions and discussions more generally.
- ADMINISTRATORS - These are the people who run the site, and do a bit of everything. They update threads, keep the site clean, and generally do a bit of all jobs. They should be your first port of call if you have any huge questions or issues that need serious attention. Anything that needs to be done across the site, they can do for you.
- BOARD MODERATORS - These wonderful people scour the boards, and make sure that all rules are being followed, any finished or dead threads are retired, and generally help sort any member issues that arise. They are our general moderators really, and for any general questions or issues, they should be able to give you a hand. They can warn and ban members, along with look into reported posts and manage issues.
- CHARACTER MODERATORS - These people are the ones you'll want to impress with your biographies, as they are the group that accept characters and keep a close eye on the plotting boards. They are the only group beyond administrators that can accept biographies, so make sure you pay attention if they have an issue that needs to be sorted. While they will primarily be useful if you've got character questions, they're always here to help with general issues too, and can warn members as needed. However more serious issues they will pass up to Board Moderators or Administrators.
- ADVERTISING MODERATORS - As expected, these guys manage the advertising boards, linking back and posting up new advertisements to keep the site moving in terms of bringing in new people. While they are the lower moderators on the scale, as all moderators, they are still there to give you a hand if you need it, though any issues they may pass onto a Board Moderator or Administrator to handle.
All staff are expected to meet the minimum standards below, which are very similar to those expected of high ranks.
- You must log in a very minimum every second day.
- You must actively participate in conversation in the cbox.
- You are expected to actively maintain a plot thread, and post in others.
- You will need to post an absence thread if you are going to be away for any period of time.
- You need to complete a very, very minimum of two posts every two weeks.
- Understand that if you are not viewed to be actively completing your duties and/or participating in the roleplay and discussion across the site, you will be addressed about the issue privately by myself, and if an improvement is not witnessed, you will be demoted from your staff position.
- Understand also that if you vanish for a solid two weeks without warning you will be demoted from your staff position.
- Be aware that if issues are raised with your treatment of members, your handling of duties, or attempting to undermine other staff, you will be addressed by myself, and will stand the risk of losing your staff position.
Staff members are the crucial element to having a functional site, so it is expected that anyone fulfilling this position will stand as some of our most active members both in and out of character, thus why there are posting requirements also in hand with these positions. We also expect all staff members to have the utmost respect for members, and in turn any disrespectful or aggressive behaviour that demeans a member unprovoked should be brought as an issue to myself.OPEN FOR AUDITIONS

To audition, you'll need to PM skyy and her socks, voicing your interest in whatever position you'd like to take up. From there, questions will be asked in private about what skills and experience you have (not required, however!), how you'd handle situations, and more miscellaneous questions relating to your relationships with other people and what you can give to the site.
These interviews will be kept completed private, and after a few entries have been considered, a result will be announced.
Please be aware that decisions will not be personally against you, and you are more than welcome to audition again in the future! We are simply looking for the best person for the position at the current time. Stay active and be a key part in the community, and you're likely for higher consideration in future searches.
