We were victims of the night, the chemical, physical, kryptonite. Helpless to the bass and the fading light we were bound to get together, bound to get together. She took my arm, I don't know how it happened. We took the floor and she said, "don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me." I said, "You're holding back," She said, "Shut up and dance with me!" This woman is my destiny, she said, "Shut up and dance WITH ME."
Wolfheart rolled over in her spot, rolling right into her sister, who jabbed her back into place. "'m sleeping," the white she-cat grumbled before tucking her face back into her paws. Wolfheart stretched on her back, her paws in the air as she blinked her eyes, forcing herself to wake up. It was still dark outside, but the large grey she-cat was used to waking up early before sunrise for the dawn patrols, something she'd been enforcing into her apprentice.
Stepping over the other cats on her way out the of the den, she jabbed a few other warriors awake to join her and stepped out into the cool dark morning. She disturbed the dew on the ground as she stepped out and shook her coat and yawned. She sat to groom her fur flat for only a few moments before stalking off to the apprentice den to wake up Yewpaw.
Sticking her head into the den, she spotted the tom curled up beside his sister. and stepped into the den far enough that she could reach over and give the young cat a gentle shake.
"Yewpaw, wake up, time for patrol," she meowed quietly.
