Day Dreaming Of Things To Be (Slatekit/Open)

Dreamkit slept in real late she was a cat that loved sleeping, because of the wonderful dreams she dreamed when she was asleep. But what was better then sleeping dreams was waken dream. She would spend the hours she was awake day dreaming of what was to be. When she wasn't dreaming or day dreaming she was talking nonstop to her brother Slatepaw about how she couldn't wait to be an apprentice and eventually a warrior. She would prove she could become a great warrior someday even if she did day dream more often then not.

Right now Dreamkit sat staring at the clouds above camp. She loved watching the clouds and seeing what she could see from them. She purred when she saw what looked like a cat chasing a mouse in the clouds. Another time she thought she saw the shape of a dog in them. One of her favorite cloud shapes she had ever seen was the shape of two kittens playing together. It reminded her of Slatekit and her when they where younger they used to play together all the time. How she missed those days, now all she seemed to do was annoy him to no ends. Oh well maybe someday they would be close again, but for now she was happy with spending her days day dreaming about when she would finally be made an apprentice. Dreamkit was so lost in her thoughts she never heard or saw the cat walking up to her. When she was like it would take more then the sound of paw steps or a soft voice to snap her out of her day dreaming.
