do you hear the lion roar?
[attr="class","itdscroll"]The sun was peeking like a newborn flame over the horizon, pierced by tree tops, with yellow rays flowing into Thunderclan's camp. The camp floor was shadowed with thousands of paw prints, each pressed by current and past generations of Thunderclan warriors, some of whom slumbered peacefully within the camp's dens. Falconstar, powerfully-built and thick in size, lied snoring softly in his own den, isolated from his fellow clan mates yet dreaming of walking among the friends and family now living in Starclan. Even when he shared his den with no one, Falconstar was surrounded by familiarity; the sun's creeping light met his den's entrance and Falconstar came awake with a smile on his face and a purr rumbling about his cavernous chest. It only took a few heartbeats for him to lurch from sleepy lack of awareness to fully conscious and thinking on the day's plans. He had alerted Hazelclaw to his intentions of training sessions for the morning, so she would be on top of patrols and figuring out who was going where. Falconstar was concerned only with his apprentices today. He rose from the den and shook out his fur, padding to the den entrance and blinking out at the colorful sky. The blue and purple night-dark hues were seeping away like drying dew, replaced by streaks of vivid orange and pink. Falconstar could see, just barely, stars twinkling away into the morning sky. "Thank you, Starclan, for today and its opportunities," he meowed, lowering his voice and adding, "Thank you, Applestar, for staying with me." Even if she had only been a pale shade in his dream, a glimmer with warm eyes, Falconstar took refuge in the knowledge that she walked with him no matter what.
Thanks given, Falconstar now turned to the apprentice den and ducked his head inside. His shoulders were too broad for him to enter quietly and he did his best to avoid startling the other apprentices. Falconstar found Tinypaw with his adjusting eyes and nudged her gently with his large paw, caught as always by the powerful difference between his thick paw and her lithe frame. "Tinypaw! Rise and shine!" He meowed with enthusiasm, however careful not to let his voice carry, directing it down at his apprentice. "And I need you to wake Lightpaw up for me as well, I have something fun in mind for the two of you today." He backed out of the den once that message was passed along and seated himself to check for any bits of moss or dirt in his pelt while waiting on the two young she-cats.
TAGGING skyy and her socks shanny this is taking place before Light is re-assigned, as Falcon is taking her on a training exercise with Tiny as a way of apologizing for, well, his sister xD
