He'd never been the best around kittens - though, truthfully, it only felt like days since he'd last been a small bean himself. A salmon pink tongue swiped awkwardly around his jowls, paws kneading hard at the peaty earth beneath. "Wolfkit, huh?" His head came to rest against the firm frame of his shoulder, green eyes peering curiously down at the bouncy kitten before him. "I'm...Lambpaw."

It wasn't that Lambpaw didn't like kids. Quite the contrary, in fact. They were cute, and fluffy, and they also were tempted to believe any outrageous tale he spun. But it was undeniable however that this sprightly apprentice was on the socially awkward spectrum, particularly reflected with the way of which he conversed with Wolfkit. "So - shouldn't you be, I dunno...in the Nursery drinking milk? Because, y'know -" At that he lowered himself to the kitten's level, eyes narrowed playfully to thin slits, a tug of a smile pulling up at his lips - "there's a lotta dangers out in Camp. Like giant, twoleg eating hawks that gobble kittens right up! Or crazy huge tigers with tree trunks for fangs!"

Lambpaw just couldn't resist it; he adored a good mystery, and sharing it with others was practically what he lived for. He pulled himself up, green orbs glittering with mirth as he teasingly added, "yep! Outside is definitely no place for a tiny kitten such as yourself."
